Looking to buy a $50> +/- kit. No 700 scale. I saw several on Iron shipwright but wanted to give a chance for a kit from someone's stash.

Please email me jfalen72(at)yahoo(dot)com

My great uncle was CO on an Evarts class DE and I would love to get this kit instead of a 1/700 Skywave.

Welcome to the dark side. For a first resin ship build I would recommend the Yankee Gearing. A destroyer-sized subject is a wise choice.

ISW kits often suffer from surface bubbles. While they are repairable you don't need their agggrevation for a first resin build. Gulfstream kits were often cast by ISW so many problems may exist in both product lines. Yankee instruction sheets are also better than ISW's.

Yankee Modelworks (ex Blue Water Navy) kits will be supportable through Blue Ridge Models/Freetime Hobbies.
