I am looking for a version of the Revell 1/72nd MiG 21 kit that comes with air to air missiles.  So far the one version I have found has ground attack weapons.  Does Revell make an air defense variant?  I can use the Atolls from the Fujimi kits but was curious of what else is out there.

Thanks,

Chris

Thought maybe RoG had some that didn't make it over here.
Maybe Eduard will do some 72nd kits too.

For what I know Revell Germany kitted a single version of the MiG-21, the earlier or MiG-21 F-13 Fishbed C cat. # 04346 in 1/72 scale .
For armament it has bombs, rocket pods and 2 "shapes" tha could well be training aquisition rounds of Atoll missiles - that's all checking the kit, hope it could be of some help .

the kit got such good reviews, there was reason for Revell to make other variants but that did not happen from what I have learned so far.

The MiG-21F-13 was equipped with the basic version of the AA-2 Atoll, which was a part-for-part, screw-for-screw copy of the AIM-9B. Parts were literally interchangeable between them according to the history of the Sidewinder I'm reading.
