I built one of these at age 9 in 1957. I’m going to take another shot at it. 

The bottom wing was very badly warped. Hopefully Testors Liquid Cement. A music wire spar, lots of tape, and time will fix that problem.

UPDATE:

Wing warp is fixed. I scrounged in the scrapbox and found spoked wheels and a better looking nose gear. Ill build a nose gear well and add nose gear doors. The float retraction struts aer in need of repair as well..

Any ideas about decal placement?  Boxtop looks a bit vague...

They are scribed in as raised lines., which I’ve removed as well as toning down the rivets. I have Techmod decals which will work nicely. I’m trying to replicate an aircraft operating in the Aleutian Islands in 1943. Current state of play. Improvised noseweight balancing jig. Adios, Larry.
