On sprue E, what are the parts labled 1?
What kind of gun is the heavy machine gun?
What would be the best place to put the shovels on the Leopold?
What weapons would the crew members of the Leopold most likely have used?
Would the Kar 98k actually have a wood grain pattern as depicted on the box?
What would be the best colors to use for the stielhandgranaten?

Thanks in advance. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Its been a while since I worked on them. I used them for othe rprojects.

The Leo wouldn't carry a MG, and not where the shovel would be. It wasn't a front line weapon. The gun is an MG-42. Most of the Trumpeter equipment and weapons are very poor. You would see some wood grain pattern on the wood parts. You can do a search on yahoo and find color photos of various grenades, etc. But again, being a weapon used back behind the battle lines you wouldn't have artillery crew carrying grenades, etc. Those parts are really only included becuase the helmets and some other details are on the accessory sprues used in their solder kits.

I am building a diorama of a K5 and at this point, I'm not really going for historical accuracy. I was at first but the crew are in the wrong poses. What I was thinking about doing was having the weapons propped up next to the crate. I thought that the heavy machine gun was an MG-42 but I haven't seen one up close. I was pretty sure it wasn't an MG-34. Thanks again for answering my questions.
