Ive realized that most people ... tend not to be direct when they feel something is shoddy because they want to be liked, "which is actually a vain trait".

Given the perspective, taken with a telephoto lens from the other side.

Given the angle of the tank, and depth, someone made an error in judgement.

fitted with the T6 flotation pontoons for the run into the beach at Okinawa. While I don't know if this incident has anything to do with the water inside (if they went into the water at speed, the bow wave could have washed over the glacis and into the open driver's hatch), this is an interesting Sherman.
