The full-color Maple Leaf roundel is great to see...the entire Hornet is a work of art.

I agree. Our commemorative and anniversary schemes are mostly pretty dull & uninspiring. A few days ago I saw a pic of a Hornet in a new RAAF 77 Squadron anniversary scheme and whilst the colours were attractive, the scheme itself was dead boring!

I was showing a friend the full size photos today and we were amazed at the details that make up the snowflakes on the inside of the tails. She sure is purdy!
