From Hobbycraft in 1/48th scale, built OOTB except for scratch cockpit and resin ejection seats from Aeroclub models.Painted with Silver # 11 and # 56 aluminum from Humbrol.

The model is for an Avro Canada CF-100 MK-5 of RCAF 425th Alouette Squadron based at ST-Hubert PQ in 1957.

Another aircraft I like very much, I've done its smaller brother (Hobbycraft kit 1/72) with Belgian markings (Modeldecal) and the short wing version is in my stash .



About your model quality: nothing new under the sun, but it's already a very bright sun !!!!!!!

Your CF-100 is very nicely done. I like the old paint schemes on Canadian aircraft...very colorful.

Very nice job, Serge!! the bare plastic in the box looks pretty rough, but painted up and decaled it sure looks nice! Too bad we don't see more of them built up.

I appreciated much and BTW your CF-100 is very nicely done and beautifuly painted. I have two 1/48 scale CF-100 MK 4 on my stash I will built one in camo and the other one in silver finish.
