SEV-3 more problems

I'm trying a new brand, for me, of paint. I bought it for painting a foam R/C model although it very popular for the plastic types that we do. Trust me, I have been painting models for nearly 60 years so I have gone through many different brands. I also watched the manufacture's videos so I felt I got a handle on it. The new problem was that I wanted to keep the same brand throughout the building process. I usually use Future wax for sealing decals that I create. It worked many time. This time since I was working with really small decals and sometimes Future leaves an edge, it is a floor wax after all, I felt I should use the new brand I am using. The attached image shows what happened. The Left side is Future and the Right is the results of the clear coat from the new paint. I have used many other brands of clear coat, at least 5 different manufactures and this is the first time I had this results ruining the ink from the printer that was dried for a day. The reason I'm taking the time to post these set backs is to show anybody new to the hobby that the fantastic models they see on this site just didn't drop onto the site. There is a learning curve and you have to put a little effort into it. And yes sometimes things go bad, but the rewards are great.

A little more investigations reveals that the paint's ingredients are similar to the printer's ink and so it reacted. I'll either use Future or Microsol to seal the art works before using it as a clear coat. If you don't learn something new everyday, life gets boring, and then you really do something dumb.
