Guys/Gals,

I am confused with the instructions of the Hasegawa 1/48 Saab Draken. The instructions would have the modeller install the nose gear with the scissor torque link (sorry if the terminology is wrong) facing aft, but pics I have show it facing forward. Also, the wheel fender in the instructions looks wrong as well. Are the instructions correct?

Here's a diagram from the official brochure of the SAAB Draken showing the torque link facing back.

Notice that the upper and lower links are disconnected. This is a common practice when moving aircraft on the ground. It allows the ground hadling crew to rotate the nose gear to steer the airplane with a tug. They probably moved this one and had not yet realigned and reconnected the scissors links.
