Hi friends,

some days ago I have had a look on the CAD-Drawings of the all new Boeing 747-8XX from Revell in 1/144 scale. Whow, this one looks realy good. T H E R E F O R E the kit from Russia of the new Boeing 747-800 are very bad
and has too many mistakes
Revell does it great job.
Eckhart go ahead....
Now the "Super-Jumbo", the counterpart of the Airbus A-380, only must come
into the stores!

Yes maybe the Revell kit will be much more accurate. I don't think the engines will be as nice as the Zvezda 747-800. Zvezda nailed the engines on their 787 as well. Just incredible engineering!

Looking forward to the new Revell 747.

cheers

If Revell does their usual great job on this kit like they have done with their past airliner models this will be great. Now to question my sanity when this kit comes out, do I really want to convert it to a freighter???

Thanks for the info on this kit, will be ready this fall for it.

If it is a new kit I hope they do a better job than their 747-400 which is incorrect and has lots of problems.

this is a completly new mould from Revell
This kit has nothing to do with the Zvezda 747-800.
And it is a very much better kit than the old 747-400 )

Since you seemingly love to put me down for my comments you obviously don't read up on the models that Revell suggests they make.

The Revell 787 is different from the Zvezda 787 in that it is a "new" mold, (New To Revell) other than the markings and plastic color they are identical. The Revell 747-8i is a new mold too for "Revell" because it is new to Revell but it comes from Zvezda......

We can continue to argue this point till you paint yourself blue, it still will not change these facts that these models are the same kit but with different markings and plastic color......... They are new molding because it is new molding to Revell, look at the wording of the Revell statement is all these cases, Revell doesn't seem to desire to admit that their kits are from somewhere else.

The Revell Il-86 was also suggested as being a new mold too but is the same kit as the Zvezda kit but with different plastic color and markings.

The "Revell" Cessna Citation, Learjet 35, Dassult Falcon 10 all said they were new molds, but they were all copies of the Hasagewa kits.

I'd be willing to bet you millions of dollars and be right, but you would never pay me...........

Look at reality has Revell in the past several years brought out an airlinner that is a new mold to the world, so far I can name 2 resent releases that are the same 787, Il-86, most of the rest are re-releases of older models
