Does anyone know of a technique or a site that demonstrates how to achieve the appearance of red leather seats on plastic? TIA

I paint the part the shade of red I want, then, when dry I "polish" the paint with a tissue or soft cloth untill I get the sheen I want. If I am looking for a "distressed" appearance, I use the basic color, then add light tan colored "highlights" to simulate scratches, then polish to suit. HTH, Joel.

Do a wash first w/ a slightly darkened base color to get into the crevices and give you some depth. Rub. Maybe lightly drybrush too w/ flat blk or khaki or grey, etc.

Google Image pics for the 'look' and experiment to get a scale version.
