I finished the much hated panel rescribing and reached a new milestone of my RC-135S Cobra Ball I project : engines fitting up on the airframe .

These are the first pics taken with my new Canon SX 40 HS digital camera and look a lot better defined than the previous ones .

I started with the outboard engines

The fitting was good on the wing bottom but a total mess at the wing top leading edges

Slowly it's going to look like a Cobra Ball .

As usual any comment/suggestion/critique very wellcome and appreciated .

Looks great! Just think the nacelles that are black should be black all the way around, top wing also. Underneath it should not be, just the grey. At least the versions I also have time on recently, not sure on the older versions though.:)Cheers!

... do you think you'll complete the project before you reach a point where I can't figure out the roman numerals on your postings?

Gigantic effort and steadily progressing. Following with interest.
How many of these big jets do you have in your collection?

... That Cobra Ball is looking better and better...

That engine pylon to wing seam looks like a challenge... I'm sure you'll rise to it!
