You just have to watch out for insects when it comes to cookies:

Dave, have you experimented with their possible modelling applications?  You could have the next "Future"!  (Of course, you can't use Off if you're building a DH98...

Here's an accurately restored privately owned bird I photographed in North Dakota a few years ago (IMHO) ... Image4.jpg Image3.jpg Image2.jpg Image1.jpg

Dave do you have a scheme picked out yet? If so I may (or may not) have some helpful photos. I save a lotta P-51 reference photos, mostly ETO/MTO though. Nice to have actual photos to work from while painting and decaling.

Mr Tube Glue.

I am considering either  P 51D Mustang 44-15611 PZ-H "Diablo", Pilot: Lt Glenn W Wensch, 486th FS, 352nd FG or P51D-10NA Lt Matthew S Martin 44-14722 G4-N "Temptation" both are available on Kits World decals.   Diablo is particularly interesting due to the large nose art and full invasion stripes.  Temptation is interesting because I have the Legend resin figure of the nose art (the same artwork as Memphis Bell).  If Temptation has fuselage invasion stripes but if it had full invasion stripes at one point that would seal the deal.

Thanks

Dave

"Cripes a Mighty" was restored two hours north of me at Midwest Aero Restorations in Danville, Illinois. They have turned out several Grand Champions, check out their website.
