Yes ,it's the REVELL kit !..I have'nt redone the panel line if you wanted to have them scale down you woud'nt realy seen them ,so it was ok by my standard .. I dought TAMIYA or other MFG will produce this kit ,it's fairly large and he ain't getting younger too..lolRoger Manning wrote: Regarding the B-1, that is the 1/48 Revell kit, right? Is the paint scheme on your model for an aircraft under construction? Very original idea, if so.
Did you do anything about what seem to be too-wide panel lines? It looks like you did. The lines must scale out to be about 1/2 inch wide. I tried to estimate their width by holding a micrometer above one of them and opening it until its opening looked about the same as the width of one of the panel lines. Looks like the panel lines on the kit are maybe 0.01".
I have that kit near the top of my build-pile. I am thinking that I need to fill the lines, sand them down and then rescribe them. Problem with that is that as soon as I finish the rescribing, Tamiya will release a 1/48 B-1 kit.
Hi !stilltubeglue wrote: You Sir are a building MACHINE. Excellent work on those small figures and the 1/43 Camaro you'd posted earlier is fantastic. Those 1/43 cars are SMALL, not sure everyone realizes that because yours looks like a 1/25 model, at least.
