The airfield was named for Lieutenant Thomas Selfridge, the first U.S. military officer to die in an aviation accident while flying with Orville Wright at Fort Myer, Virginia on 17 September 1908.

Look at the guy with the giant beer/donut/pizza belly in image 43...
Yo dude after working on Picatinny arsenal for 32 yrs ( a Army base I have seen my share of cubby Army guys) As a reired member of the USAF Reserves I can tell you that we have a good fit to fight program that does cuddle slackers .So what was your branch of service ?

when I was in the Air Force. Gained 10 or 12 lbs, within a year of getting out. Being in the 601st SOS may have helped.

The National Guard flying F4Us? And "Starfire" name applied only to the "C" model. And rioting in Detroit? I'm shocked! hehe Oh well.

which is pretty much a one man group build unless someone wants to join me.

It's suprising how many Selfridge decals I have been able to find.

Greg in OK, but a Detroiter, born and bred.
