It would be nice if any of us would post a picture of their very first submission to this forum. Anyone who will, please post in this thread.😀

Here is mine: Airfix 1/72 Fiat G.50 "naked"

I'm cheating a bit here, I only made my first post on the forum today!

Here's the first picture I posted, a rebuild of an original FROG Hunter.

My first finish in the Classic British Kits Forum was in 2011 for the Airfix Hurricane GB. A Finnish Hurricane in delivery scheme with civil registration.

I am not really sure about my first post on the Airfix forum. A reasonable guess date it around 2012. Here is a collection of builds done that year. All are about classic jets and sources are kits from Airfix, Matchbox (the PR9 and the Hunter) and a Frog (The SAAF Canberra). The Airfix B (I) 8, built in the framework of the multiple engines GB, might have been the first one posted.
Thanks to all of you for making this forum a nice place
Luigi

For those looking for where the forum became Airfix (and later classic kits) - it starts here.

Or long form:

group-build-airfix-frog-and-matchbox-cl ... 13200.html

My first build was an Airfix Canberra B.2 specially modified for radar absorbing coating trials. I'll have to dig the photo out of my old hard drive tomorrow, because Photobucket won't even let me in to see my own photos without paying now! 😡

Cheers,

Andrew

I haven't posted much here, but I think this was the first one that I did.

If I remember correctly, my first sub to this group would've been my Airfix CAC Boomerang about six or seven years back. Great fun building it, went a little over the top on detail, and it is now sadly destroyed as the person I gave it to in Colorado when I was moving to Florida didn't take care of it very well.
