Curious to know if anyone has successfully backdated the ESCI 1/48 F-4 wing to an accurate F-4B configuration. Is the plastic thick enough to simply deepen the existing panel lines and grind/sand off the gear well bulges? Or is some backing material on the inside wing surfaces in order?

with super glue and kick it. Of course, this also presumes you are building gear up !! Good luck, George

Hi

I personally would not go through that much work on that kit. Beef up the cockpit a bit and make her a nice -J. Then get the Academy -B/N preferably in the Eduard boxing and be a happy man!

cheers
