Grabbed this little 'gem' from ModelNerds ... oh boy.
Kit came with no Decals, so I'll have to source them from somewhere else or create my own..
It was a pleasure to put this together. There is a very simple cockpit, but you can't see anything, as there was no open cockpit or large clear parts to see in.
So, no interior was built or painted.
The rest fell together okay - some large mold seams that need to be scraped off.
some parts were fragile, sink holes and one large gap when the wing is joined to the fuselage.
i've used Vallejo Plastic Putty - finally in control of this stuff (watched a youtuber - learn how others use it)
Since I was sanding abit, I lost the texture on the nose, so out comes the liquid cement and tooth brush to rough it up again .
Its currently primed and drying, so while I wait, here is the only Pic I took (camera played up, there were more)
The plan is to paint the nose section with Tamiya X-32 and the rest of the body XF-16 and tone the main body with a very thinned Gunze H338 Light Gray.
From some of the photo's I've seen these colors are close to the preserved aircraft in the Air and Space Museum.
you won't believe it, I found the missing in progress pics
