Anyone whose read any of my posts knows I am just about dying for a 1:48th Tri Motor tooled to the quality of the 1:48th Ju-52. It seems like a no brainer to me.

Nicely executed though! Wonder why it got pulled?

And yes, I would LOVE a 1/48 Trimotor, but I have as much chance of seeing a state-of-the-art 1/48 Trimotor kit as I do seeing a 1/48 Sud-Ouest S.E. 100 or Breguet Bre 270... i.e., no freakin' chance at all. :-/

Cheers,

I was wondering about an earlier Tri-Motor reference. Personally, I'd love a new kit. I'd prefer 1/72, but for a state-of-the-art Tin Goose I'd make an exception.

But a 48th would still be good for the quarter scale guys. My skills are just not up to the two neolithic 72nd kits. Well, 72nd Airfix and 77th (or so) Monogram one.

path to their door: L'aventura!

This rule does not always hold true, as the Revell 1:48 PBY and Revell Ju-52 are notorious dust collectors in hobby shops.

Just because of how off the beaten path it would be. While we are at it, we could use a decent S.55X.

I own each example you mentioned and each are collecting dust in their boxes, because I do not want then collecting boxes while assembling, or worse yet while painting.
