Has anyone heard anything about the new 1/600 scale Star Trek kits from Revell?
They are supposed to be out but I can't find any comment anywhere on them.

From what I understand, they are for European sale only. Legally can't be distributed to the USA. I saw a review online, seems they did less than a "stellar" job on the Enterprise. Shapes are supposedly off.
Maybe look forward to the Round2 1/350 new tool NCC-1701? Seems they are implying a pre-order from them will be needed to guaranty getting one. The New Modeling World Order I guess.......

yeah, not a lot of clear info on the 1/350 kit. Is a pre order necessary?

Round 2 has next to nothing to help clear things up. I just want the basic kit, not the one with all the extras, details, etc.

Your right, not a lot of clear info from R2. Website seems to imply you need to pre-order as the run will be limited? Hopefully this will not be a trend. I do hope it makes it to the store shelves in a less than deluxe form. They have been noted for releasing "special editions" in tin boxes. I would really rather have the kit and not add the $10 tin box to the price.
