Well... as an adult repatriate to the hobby anyway. Built four or five years ago maybe? It's the 1/48 Tamiya Wildcat, built OOB. Great kit, easy to build, and all around fun experience. In hindsight, I'm glad and lucky to have chosen one of the newer Tamiya kits for my first effort. Something more challenging would have probably ended in disaster, and scared me away. I'm looking forward to building another one and using all the techniques I've learned here to "do it right".

I've got more pix of this one on my blog, if anyone's interested...

Thanks for looking!

Very Nice Wildcat, Bill. The Tamiya kit does make a very good entre back into the hobby.

Cheers,
