1) I dropped a part I was painting.

2) I caught it on the way down

The first one wasn't all THAT bad of a mistake but the SECOND one!

Greg in OK (and I think I just got paint on the keyboard too!)

Been wearing a shop apron ever since I did your thing and instictively trapped the falling, freshly painted part between my legs -- and got paiint on a brand new pair of pants.

As a side note, that apron has starved the carpet monster of a lot of wee parts.

I dropped my Zippo in my lap and instinctively slammed my knees together to catch it.
Now THAT was a mistake!

Just fifteen minutes ago I spilled half a bottle of Alclad "Exhaust Manifold" all over my table. Gotta slow down. Fortunately I had just moved the canopy to another place.

for the night. I stop now no later than 11pm as a few months ago, still working at 1am , I said I would just do this one little piece then pack it away for the night.

Everyone got up when they heard me calling.."somebody help me" Modeling while you should be sleeping is not good as I drove an xacto blade into my hand. Looked a lot, lot worse than
it was, A bunch of scared and tired family members too.

Some things are so screamingly freakin' obvious, they never occur to you... this is one of those things. Thanks for the suggestion, that sounds like a cheap and effective solution right there!
