They look great as far as this old BUFF(G&H) Crew Chief's eyes can tell.

Those are some really nice small scale B-52s, I love each and everyone of them. Fantastic builds.

I especially like your "Balls 3". May have to try your trick of replacing the Revell nose with the Crown/Minicraft

Is there a conversion for the A and D or did you scratch build the parts? I have a Minicraft kit I want to convert to an A to use for an X-15 kit I just got.

Terrific builds.

Great collection of 52's. Which is the better kit in your opinion the minicraft or the revell one? What did you use for the natural metal finish on the A?

None that I am aware of. If you can find a copy of Aerospace Modeler, number 10, May 2009, there is an article on the conversion to a "D". The "A" is not a whole lot different.

Each kit has its own problems. Major problem on the Revell kit is the nose/canopy shape, while on the Minicraft it is the undersized engines. As I indicated, both of my Revell kits have a resin copy of the Minicraft nose, while both Minicraft "H" models have resin copies of the Revell "H" engines.

As far as the paint, I use auto lacquers. The NMF is also a lacquer mix.

Only area I'm mostly concerned with is doing the tall tail but the rest I didn't think would be so bad.
