I'm just wondering how your kits do survive over so many years? Mine are usually gone after 6 or 7 years. Thank god for photography!

Cheers, Jeroen

I'm a conservative guy Jeroen I like keep my models for long time I clean them one time a month and keep them in big show cases . Sometimes I sold one to friend or customer but it's very rare.

... Yes, the plane and the encounter are true, it was the actual pilot, 'Col. Toom/Toon/Tomb' that is in question.

According to most of what I've read, there was no such person... But that's history for ya!

Nice looking Mig either way!

We stole the eagle from the Air Force, the anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army.
On the seventh day while God rested, we overran his perimeter, stole the globe, and we've been running the whole show ever since.

You created a perfect replica of the N.Vietnamese Mig-17F. The camoflage matches photos I have seen in Koku Fan of the real thing. Great job!
