Does anyone have any recent information on the Meng Tortoise? Meng had advertised it in March and there was considerable discussion and then nothing.

Just noticed the Merkava is available from Hobby Link....so the Tortoise should hopefully be next. I am waiting to see their 1/35 T-90.

Cheers!

Got my Meng Merkava from Lucky Model. Real nice kit. According to the instructions, it was designed with the help of the director of the IDF armor museum, who is an ex-tanker, so it should be quite accurate.

So far Meng has produced everything they have announced. Reasonable price is relative. What is reasonable to one person may be too rich for someone else

The Meng Merkava has a US MSRP of $79 while the Academy kit is $39. I'd say the Tortoise should be in the $120 ball park.

Not to be outdone by Meng, Amusing Hobby has a line up of experimental German tanks from the World of Tanks game in the works.
