Have seen the earlier article in regards the enquiry as to Matchbox kit.

I have posted an article in Aircraft Resource Centre - March 19, 2012 on my build.

I was fortunate. There is a Mk 24 on display in Perth Western Australia which afforded me the opportunity to photograph both cockpit and undercarriage. The cockpit was upgraded by some eduard and scratch building. The undercarriage bay is very short on. I used the photos to up grade details around the second door and Scale Aircraft Conversions Mk VIII undercarriage upgrade BUT with the same actually reversed as the Mk22 Mk24 have the torque links at the rear and not at the front as earlier Mks. I have read more recently that the Mk VIII is a little short. Bearing in mind the Matchbox/Revell oleos have trouble supporting the finished model it was a loss I could bear.

For those who want guidance for the undercarriage bay the Airfix 1/48th kit has a reasonable attempt at the second undercarriage doors and mechanism.
