This book, "The Silverplate Bombers: A History and Registry of the Enola Gay and Other B‑29s Configured to Carry Atomic Bombs"
by Richard H. Campbell, extensively covers all the Silverplate configured B-29s.

Do you by chance have a copy of this book?? If so does it include those B-29's that ended up at NOTS China Lake. Just curious. 6 or 7 made it out of the Lake, with 3 of them having flown out. The one that ended up at the Imperial War Museum, flew out with British registration. email is hblecha at iwvisp.com
Ciao!!
