Gentlemen,

Would it be a forlorn hope that somebody may have a spare or rescue -D/DJ canopy in the spares?

My s/b effort (to replace the missing item) died the death.
Namely, major surgery on a non-Hase canopy frame  went South; half of the frame which I'd sawn in twain, to widen, has since departed.

I am happy to reimburse S&H, to New Zealand.
Maybe s/thing extra from a list of possible trades?

Waldron -

1/32 Instruments, WW2 (US)
Model Technologies -
1/32 Seat Buckles, Modern (US)

Cheers for looking.

Can't help you with the canopy but may I suggest the Rob Taurus F-15E canopy?

Currently out of stock but if you order it, they'll very likely get it for you ( HLJ service is good)

Alternatively, this issue of the Hasegawa F-15J comes with parts to make a single seater as well as 2-seater F-15DJ.  If you can find someone who has the kit & has no plans to use the 2-seater canopy, maybe they can give it to you.

Cheers for the news.

I had a fleeting thought to look into Rob Taurus.
Oddly, I presumed there wasn't one.

I shall continue the saga.

Would the part from a early F-15E kit work?

Hi, there,

Thanks for your message.

Certainly would work. All 2-seaters had the same canopy.

Where are you?

Been thinking on it, TS.

What do you build and what could I help with in the way of extras, in exchange?

If you'd like, reach me on back-channel -
