Wahooooooooooooo. Kitty Hawk models is producing a 1/48th Banshee. Now I may never finish my resin kit. It got stuck in neutral when I got to the canopy and could not make the vac formed piece fit. If I don't buy any other kit in 2015 I will get the Banshee.

I'll believe it when I see it...

Too many times we've all heard this from them, it's like crying wolf...

I'll keep my reworked/scratch built/modified Testors kit!

Thanks for posting either way

But this is the first time Kitty Hawk has made the announcement and I remember when they announced the F-94 everybody said the same thing. One can only hope that as the overall world economy is improving ever so slightly Kitty Hawk will live up to their advertising.

If they do release the Banshee family, I'll go for one of each!

But that's IF they release 'em!

Hopefully it'll happen eventually. Seems to me they do eventually plan to do most if not all of their 1/48th kits in 1/32nd.

The only obstacle to me finishing my Collect-Aire resin kit is the canopy. I would buy the old Hawk/Testors kit just to get the canopy as long as it is a reasonable price.

The Hawk kit canopy is too short for a production early Banshee. The Hawk kit is a preproduction AC.
