Italian colour names?

Is there any such thing as a definitive list of Italian colours? It seems that especially the browns can go by different names, ie Chiarro nicolo vs Marrone Mimetico. When the decal and kit manufacturers use one set of names and paint manufacturers such as WEM use another, I can't order paint very well since I don't know what I am ordering!

Help,

Chris

PS: any suggestions as to paint lines are welcome, along with any FS#'s!

Mimetico means camouflage, chiaro means light, scuro means dark, marrone means maroon, etc. Therefore verde oliva scuro means dark olive green.nocciola(hazel)chiaro is light hazel, giallo(yellow) mimetico 3 is camouflage yellow 3 etc. etc.HTH

I now have a much better idea of what I need for my G55. You guys have managed to move this farther along than I did in two days of going through everything I have, plus google!

Much appreciated!

also, the name is "Nocciola Chiaro", means "light hazelnut"; "Marrone Mimetico" means "Camouflage Brown". Both are "official" Italian colour names.
Geez, let's see what PierPaolo has said!
