Uses the turret from/similar to the AMX-13. There were several of these EBR armored cars. The real vehicle has steel middle wheels, but Hobby Boss has molded the steel tires as rubber parts in the kit (probably to facilitate molding).

ADV/Azimuth kit. Glad I didn't. Sadly, I DID buy the AMX10-RC by them. And the Panhard VBL... the VBL was a neat little kit. The AMX10-RC was a brick o resin......

wheeled BIG cannon Dana a few yrs ago too. That saved me buying the $$$$$ PanzerShop resin kit. I see some good deals on that HB Dana kit on eBay. 50-60 USD delivered to the US! That's a good price for a big kit.

I'll wait and see what the HK onlines will be sellng the Panhard EBR for but that Sq price seems pretty good. The Jpn onlines have it much higher, and then you have to add the postage. The Sq pre-release price beats the Jpn prices by about 20+ bucks. The HB dist in Jpn must jack up the list a lot more than the US HB dist. Or is Sq the US dist?

Trumpeter, Dragon, Copy Boss all seem to be considerably higher if you buy from Japan. HLJ, etc are often much more expensive on that stuff than just buying it full retail in the US. But, places like Lucky Model from Hong Kong are usually considerably cheaper.

Squadron is an importer for Hobby Boss also.

Yes I only buy Taiwan/PRC kits and hobby stuff from the HK onlines like Lucky, HobbyEasy, Eric, etc or Sprue Bros here in the States. Or from HLJ during a good sale.

They used them in Algeria. Probably the most extreme 8x8 ever. Flat 12 air cooled engine.
