If you are using a modeling product, ie Testors, Tamiya etc. then it should be safe on the decals. If you are using some automotive or industrial lacquer paint then no.

thats hot stuff... You might want to test it. It may eat up your model paint too.

My goal is to seal in the decals with a clear coat of acrylic Lacquer, so I can use the LMG polish to make it pop. I'm very nervous right now, almost 3 weeks on this kit.

Or next time test stuff before you get this far rather than botch it up at the end. You can also polish other clear coats

Hi David, could you recommend a safe clear coat that can be polished.
