Folks,

Is there a 'close-enough" Humbrol color to use for Russian/Soviet WWII infantry?

Would Khaki-Drab work?

TIA!

Rick

uniform expert either.....the Russians had clothing made in Russia and clothing material was sent thru lend lease, then the sirts, pants, tunics, etc were made in Russia... so many colors were seen...I like a Khaki color for Russian uniforms that I can lighten with some white or darken with a darg green or black. Khaki drab would work as well lightened. Mike

uniforms. I use to use Humbrol Khaki Drill (72) for summer weight uniforms and a slightly lightened Khaki Drab (159) for winter weight. Since I have switched over to acrylics I haven't painted any Red Army uniforms.
