Aloha Brett,
The new format has a HOST of white space to the right of the topic title and those round heads also taking up the column inch.... it would add more topics per page IF a single topic line was used. Bye for now....Cheers...

David, you might try expanding your browser window horizontally. On my screen all the topic titles are one line only. I'm on a Mac, and I can grab the bottom right corner of the window to resize it. Dunno what you're using ...

Another thought: Unlike in the old format, you have the ability to mark the whole forum as read. If you do that each time you finish checking out the threads that interest you, it'll be quite clear (blue bars) which ones have new, unread posts next time you browse. I'm doing this much more now, and the threads with unread posts virtually never spill over onto page 2. I think it makes it much quicker and more efficient all around.

Hi David. I can't tell from your response if you figured out how to do it, or if you need help. If it's the latter, I'm afraid I don't know Windows enough myself, but there must be someone reading this who does. Good luck.

FWIW, your own title of this thread takes up two lines on my screen. :)  Best we can do until then is keep it short ourselves, and edit our own titles to fit in one line if we're not happy with it the first time.

Hi STB. Hmm, none of the topic titles take up more than one line on my screen. Are you accessing via computer or iphone/pad? I suggested to David above that he might try resizing his browser window. Apparently it works in Windows the same way as on my Mac -- click and drag a bottom corner. Of course, I'm working on a 27 inch screen, so I have a lot of horizontal room for expansion. Another thought, coming off your second sentence: In the old format many times the entire message was in the title, which could get pretty lengthy. We obviously have to work differently in the new format.

Hi Pip, I'm on a computer with a 15" screen. Multiple lined-titles don't bother me personally but I still try to keep mine small now that I know how it works and that for some it can become problematic.

Could we make the circular icons representing the user smaller?
