Finally finished this as part of a Phantom group build over on Britmodeller but thought i would post here as it fits the theme...

This is the old hasegawa kit of the F4-EJ with raised panel lines and a bit lacking in detail. Have rescribed the kit (first) and tried to add a bit of detail with scratchbuilding, resin seats (first) and photo etched panels.

Anyway wil try to give you the condensed build and not bore you to tears (hopefully)

First off the kit and bits

[/IMG]

Tried to improve the kit exhausts a bit

[/IMG]

Rescribed

[/IMG]

Used the kit tub and scratched some panels

[/IMG]

And tried to add some detail to the nose wheel bay

[/IMG]

Pit completed

[/IMG]

White bits done

[/IMG]

Scratched some FOD covers

[/IMG]

And eventually completed it

[/IMG]

[/IMG]

[/IMG]

Thanks for looking, any comments/critisicm welcome,

Cheers Stu

Nice job on the scribing, especially around the fuselage!

Haven't seen many of them around here lately - certainly not in Japanese colours

Great work on this classic kit - good to see some people still build it - and can do nice things with it
