To be fair, our neighborhood delivery guy is really great and everybody loves him (Jim the Mailman!) and 99% of packages are fine. I'm guessing the damage happened further up the chain. Just glad wasn't a kit in there!

Our UPS delivery guy can be sloppy, however. We've had to take misdelivered boxes to a neighbor one street over at least three times (our house numbers are the same, diff streets).

That mispackaged, for a decal sheet, and a role  of tape, that should have shipped in a padded envelope . If you put a small item in a big box, and do not completely fill it with packing material, it will get crushed.

Yeah, I agree. I was surprised it didn't come in a padded flat.

Where do you live? I have only had one bad experience w/USPS - shipped HO locomotives and they were trashed. Got a quick refund!!
