I have been looking for the Monogram 1/48 F9F-5 kit (which I know has been OOP for a while) but all I can find is the Revel Germany F9F-5P, the one with the recon longer nose. Is there an option in this kit whereby you can convert it to the non-recon version?

Before there was such a thing as resin, there was such a thing as epoxy putty. And before that, there was something called basswood.

...but was afraid I'd be called "politically incorrect," or something of the sort. Looks like a straightforward job to me. I did much more complex "conversions" before I got out of high school.
