Eduard 1/48 Hellcat update...

Here is my Hellcat with the flying surfaces on.
It all fits fairly well, just a bit off filler required down the seams.
The wings fit very well into the fuselage recesses, again just a touch of filler required.
I think if I had taken more time with the wing assemblies, the fit would have been better.

The underside white is on, with some shading, then masked up
for the intermediate blue, also with some shading.

The dark blue is on with some panel high-lighting.
The demarcation of the camo was done with blue-tak strings.

Spraying is complete and the panel lines have been inked.
I think the engraved detail on the kit is a little heavy, hence the boldness
of the lines, esp on the undersides.
I think I may have to lightly re-spray the undersides to lessen the effect.

I have added the wire supports to the tank.
