Does the Trumpeter 1/32 F-14B or F-14D have
the correct wing glove pylons for AIM-54's ???

I've always wanted to do a big Tomcat with
SIX Phoenix missiles on it.

Thank You,
Wendy

Yes they both have six AIM-54'and the pylons for them. Only the F-14A was ever seen with 6 x AIM-54's and that was very rare as they could not be bought back aboard ship as the aircraft would be overweight to trap. This is why they never carried 6 of em at once except for PR photos and ground bas tests.
Here's a link with photos of the F-14D parts:

If you want most accurate shape - the Tamiya kit is still the way to go. Trumpeter kit has several shape inaccuracies - for some modelers it is not important, for others it is, but it is a fact.
But I agree that Trumpeter one is a better, more modern kit. The old Tamiya kit requires a lot of work to get the same level of detail etc. as you get in the Trumpeter box.
