Does anyone have a picture of Jerry Denton"s A6 that he was shot down on?

looking real hard at the 1/32 Trumpeter kit and would love to try it in his markings. I met his NFO years ago.
Thanks

I had the same idea 2 or 3 years ago (except in 1/48) and searched for a photo to no avail after which I put the idea on the back burner. I didn't make any notes, but I recall finding the modex and bureau number online somewhere (or perhaps in Denton's book) and concluding that the VA-75 decals on Furball's Iron Tadpoles sheet (48025, currently unavailable) with the appropriate number changes would probably work to model Denton's aircraft.

Addendum: I just hunted around and found this page which gives the numbers for Denton's A-6:

Hope this helps at least a little.
