Hi
Technically no. The JP tracks were slightly different on the edge.

However the difference is so minor as to be barely noticeable in 1/35 or smaller. So it’s possible to use Panther tracks.

Finally I don’t think any AM company has released specific JP tacks.

Not that I am disagreeing with you but why would the Jagdpanther have different tracks? It essentially used the same lower hull and suspension as the Panther G so why complicate supply and manufacturing by having tracks that are so slightly different. It just doesn't seem logical to me.

Hi Roy
i have no idea why the difference and it’s only a small detail on the track face not an entirely new track.

If fairness it probarbly didnt make any different to production or use. If you need another production line for track it makes no odds if it matches a Panther or not. As the JP and Panther where not intended to be issued to the same units again it makes not diffference.

The detail was indentified in the Panxer Track book on the JP.

The tracks and their difference were also discussed on Missing Lynx not too long ago. No one makes actual Jagdpanther tracks in 1/35 so its sort of moot. But, they were different, as noted.  Other countries/tracks have the same odd differences.  For example the Japanese Type 2 Ka Mi, which is based off the Type 95 light tank used a track slightly different from standard Type 95 tracks. Again, I don't think anyone makes this - the difference was just discovered recently.  But they are essentially two identical tracks with just a minor surface difference.
