Post USSR the Russians have been experimenting with any number of camouflage schemes

but I'll bet from a half mile away it works just fine.

Think of all that wacky dazzle camo on ships. I've seen photos of such from a few miles away and the ships disappear. A red arrow is req'd to find the ship in pic.

Ochre, Green and Brown with black lines between the colors. The Japanese threw in a bright mustard yellow cross over the vehicle too.

The Camouflage in question is for an Airfield Service Vehicle so it is Camouflaged to blend into an Airfield. Parked on the Tarmac it would tend to blend it into the Concrete instead of standing out ,same if it was parked off Tarmac on the grass.

also took a similar approach. Seemed to help them blend into the background of No Man's Land.
