Hi, Wanting to run an old Dell running Windows XP on my wireless network, so I bought one of these wireless pci cards:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0428219528

I got it doday and installed it, but the computer is wanting a driver. Nothing came with the hardware. Seems ro me these things are pretty much plug-n-play, without much fiddling around. Tried the Microsoft "Wizards" but to no avail.

Anyone have an idea?

Many thanks.....

a manufacturer name and a specific model number, then google them together...
Beware that you get the exact modcel number for the CARD and not one of the chips... It will be on the PCB (printed circuit board) and not on a chip.

Somewhere you should find their website and it "should" have a driver download available.
If not then you may be able to find a "generic" driver...at least.

Brett, Thanks for your reply, it jogged my old brain....
Nothing on the card, so I thonght, "contact the seller..."
Well, I went back to the ebay auction, and started scrolling down....
....and found a link: "click here for driver."

I guess I'll blame it on the heat frying my brain cells.

Sorry for bothering you guys!
