The Bristol Mercury was developed from the earlier Jupiter, the Bristol Pegasus was a development of the Jupiter and Mercury.

but had both a XXIV version? I was looking at the engines for the Swedish Ju86 version B3C. Some references say Pegasus XXIV and other Mercury XXIV. I would think that one is wrong.
