Blackhawks Revell Super Stearman.

The Stearman appeared in the Blackhawks comic book in 1944. I upgraded it to a Super Stearman (many such modified aircraft are flying today)with a 450hp Pratt & Whitney Wasp Junior, obtained from a junked Lindberg Kingfisher.

All else is OOB with Blue Rider decals and brush-painted Testors enamels.

Beautiful model! I’ve been building on a old Revell 1/72 stearman for awhile I was thinking of post what I’ve got done so far. I also like the kitbashing. You did a great job on it

I want to thank you for posting this, it gave me the motivation I needed to finish mine and some other planes I have started. This is one beautiful plane and the kitbashing is awesome.
