I am escorting my son's high school band on its Disneyland experience and wanted to make sure I don't waste an opportunity while I am in southern California.

I have already photographed B-17G 44-83563 FUDDY DUDDY at the Lyon's Museum at the Orange County Airport.

What I expect to be able to photograph on this trip is:

B-17G 44-83684 PICCADILLY LILLY II at the Planes of Fame Museum/Chino
B-17G 44-6393 STARDUSTER at the March Field Air Museum
B-17G 44-85778 MISS ANGELA at the Palm Springs Air Museum

If I had an extra day (or was driving back to Seattle) I would certainly try to hit B-17G 44-85738 PRESTON'S PRIDE in Tulare, and B-17G
43-38635 VIRGIN'S DELIGHT
at Castle AFB, but I think those are too far north to sneak in on this trip.

What I want to know is if there are any other B-17s hiding in the LA area -- even projects in someone's private hangar or old barn (I know how to ask permission, but I have to know what's out there first).

Thank you very much for any assistance in making the most of this trip!!!

they have more planes than most museums.
The last time I was there the B-17 was outside and in rough shape, but that was a while ago, so maybe they have restored by now.
They also have a Me-163, He-162, P-26, P-40...

... so that I'll have plenty of free time to enjoy the museum (without slowing down for wife and kids). Chino has been on my bucket list for quite a while and I look forward to checking it off in February.
