Finally finished, one of those kits that was a bunch of work but satifying by the end. 1:48 Roden kit with Cutting Edge cockpit, quickboost cockpit doors and bulkhead, Rob Taurus vac canopy, Mike Grant decals and some fishing string... I was trepidatious of my first biplane in 14 years but the rigging wasn’t too bad... less scary than getting that cockpit all square and getting the fuselage together... 66A6862C-22CC-4DCE-93CB-EFF8DED393E7.jpeg

I think you've done a very good job on what I consider to be a rather sloppily engineered kit.

Thanks! yeh, it's funny, things like the aftermarket cockpit added difficulty just because there was more detail but I think getting the kit cockpit in and square isn't much less tough because they didn't seem to put too much thought into that... (the first biplane I built was this same kit 14 years ago) Attaching the upper wing takes an element of luck to get all 8 struts attached, sorta straight without breaking anything with this soft plastic. The engine's not horrible but kind of a pain...(Lots of things are slightly not straight on my build, I'm very happy it's not too obvious stepping back from it) For it's a kit you have to think through the order of things with. Glad it's done, have another one in the stash but it's going to be a nice long break before I do another round of this.

Very nice build.
Uh, B-T-W Maximus Decimus Meridius was called  “The Spaniard”, not Grecian.🤔

Ha! Thanks, you caught me! He's really the wrong Gladiator in that case...
