Apologies if already covered but I'm looking for anything on the 1/350 Intrepid SCB-125 kit as a starting point

I am hoping to find anything on using the MRC/Gallery 1/350 USS Intrepid kit as a starting point to build a CVA-12 USS Hornet 1957 fit.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Recommend NavSource for photos.  Expert Tracy White has done extensive research at NARA on Essex class ships.  You can reach him through Modelwarships.com.

I offer some products appropriate for late 1950s such as life raft racks and SPN-8 radar antenna dome.  The SCB-125 island I offer for Hornet has features for a decade later, which won't help you much.

Hope this helps!
Best wishes and happy modeling!
