Thanks Robin - I was afraid of that, but if I can know what has to be done to make an Abrams from the M1151 Humvee time frame, I can at least see if it's doable with the more limited skills I may have at 77. I also have a resin GasoLine M1, which I think is an A1, but again not sure at this point.  I do mostly WW2, so the modern stuff is terra incognita.....

I also have a resin GasoLine M1, which I think is an A1, but again not sure at this point.  I do mostly WW2, so the modern stuff is terra incognita.....  I want to do more than one - probably an OOB M1A2 first because Echelon just released nice decals for the units that used the kit version, then the backdated A1s and at east one SEP of the proper vintage to go with the M1151 Humvees.

Thanks guys.
I did find 2 of the Squadron signal books that you all talked about. I think these will do fine, especially as someone noted from a modelers viewpoint.
