I am looking for an A/M resin part for the supercharger air intake. Are there any companies who have them?
Gosh, those 1/32 Hasegawa kits seem to have a lot of surprises in reserve...

Cheers!

The base plate for the supercharger intake is smaller on the F-2, so if you don't get the F-2 kit that has the cowling side piece and the intake, you're out of luck.

The base on Hasegawa's model moulded incorrectly, so when you attach the intake it is possitioned under the wrong angle, so I need to cut out the base anyway.

Cheers!

I wondered if the old Aires conversion for the Hasegawa G has what you are
looking for so I googled it and this is what came up. Scroll down to see how he addresses the intake.

bulbous scoop as per the kits...I used the F4 & G2 kits.
This QB set has a smaller streamlined scoop...see pics

First of all, thank you everyone for the ideas and for the links. Larry, I will drop you an e-mail later.

I should have posted the picture in the original message and made an explanation for what I was asking for.

So, here goes:

[/IMG]

The supercharger scoop is not parallel to the horizontal line: the front end is lowed to 2,5-3°

[/IMG]

That's why I think the only way to fix it is to reposition the base itself i.e. cut it from the cowling. What do you think?

Cheers!
